With a total of 13 employees, nine of whom work in the industrial sector, our company is one of the medium-sized companies in the region. Our company has its own design and project department, which offers customers solutions “from a single source“. In addition, the team of qualified specialists is not only deployed in production at the site, but also on site at the customer’s premises if required.
We have successfully established ourselves on the market in the fields of “stainless steel processing and “steel and “mechanical engineering in a wide range of industries. Our versatile machinery makes us an efficient and very flexible company that can always respond to individual customer requirements. This is confirmed by our long-standing customer base.
The area of stainless steel processing in particular has seen steady expansion in recent years. Our main field of activity here is the food industry, where stainless and hygienically safe steels are known to be used. Our main components made of this material are product feeders for loose bulk goods (e.g. conveyor belts and vibratory conveyors) and machines for separating stuck foodstuffs (e.g. loosening machines). We also offer our customers various other stainless steel products and services.
Our roots lie in the second main activity of this company – classic steel construction, certified according to DIN EN 1090-2 to EXC3 and DIN EN ISO 3834-2. From the construction and welding of a platform structure to the machining of complex workpieces and the edging of 150 mm thick sheet metal – our metalworking capabilities are extremely versatile and tailored to customer requirements.
Maderthoner Maschinenbau GmbH started as a family business in 1979 in an old apple barn in Neuendorf (Schleswig-Holstein). Early on, the focus was on the production of components for shipping and vehicle construction – in particular free-fall systems for ships. However, the portfolio also included products from the special machine construction sector, such as small windmills and filter presses.
With the steady growth of the company and the expansion of the machinery, a change of location became necessary. We have been based in Dägeling in the Steinburg district since 1992. The larger production area made it possible to manufacture large format parts and laid the foundation for continuous technical and personnel development.
Today, our focus is on stainless steel processing for the food industry and general steel construction.
An important milestone: Maderthoner Maschinenbau has been part of LIEDER Holding since 2022 – a partnership that secures our future and opens up new opportunities.
Maderthoner Maschinenbau GmbH was founded as a family business in an apple barn in Neuendorf/Schleswig-Holstein in 1979. The company began producing components for shipping and vehicle construction at an early stage. The focus here was particularly on free-fall systems on ships. However, small windmills and filter presses, which are classified as special machine construction, were also common products.
As the company expanded steadily over the years and the machinery grew, the location had to be changed for reasons of space. Since 1992, the company has been located in Dägeling in the Steinburg district with an expanded production area. The additional space meant that large format parts could now be manufactured without any problems. Continuous further development in terms of technology and personnel was also the result.
Today, the production focus of Maderthoner Maschinenbau GmbH is on stainless steel processing (mainly for the food industry) and general steel construction.
